How it works

How the marketplace comparator works

The math is simple: for each marketplace we multiply the product price by that category's commission (take rate) and add any fixed per-sale fee. Your net proceeds are the price minus those deductions: net = price − (price × commission) − fixed fee. You paste the price and category, and we line up Mercado Livre, Shopee, Amazon, Magalu and Carrefour side by side.

Picture a product at R$ 200 in a category that charges 14% on Mercado Livre. The commission is R$ 28, and with a fixed R$ 6 fee you keep R$ 166 net. If Shopee charges 20% in the same category, that's R$ 40 in commission and you receive roughly R$ 160. A few points of take rate are enough to change which channel pays you more.

Base your pricing on the net amount, not the sticker price. Commissions usually run from 10% to 20% by category, and the cheapest channel is not always the one that sells most. Compare the net against your cost and the margin you want to protect before deciding where to list each product.
