How it works
How the Open Graph Preview works
The Open Graph Preview reads the meta tags you set (URL, title, description, image and site name) and builds the card exactly as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X and WhatsApp will render it. Everything runs in your browser: you type the fields and the four previews update side by side in real time, with the domain pulled straight from the URL.
The tool validates each field against every network's limits. Title ideal up to 60 characters (hard cap 90), description up to 160 (limit 200) and image in the recommended 1200x630 ratio. If the image, title or URL is missing, or any text overflows, it flags the problem before you publish. For example, a 95-character title shows up marked in red and the card previews how it gets truncated.
Tip for BR e-commerce: the 1200x630 image is what sells the click in WhatsApp groups and the Facebook feed, where your Black Friday offer will circulate. Without og:image the thumbnail vanishes and the link becomes plain text. Generate the ready-made HTML tags here and paste them into the product or landing page <head> before launching the campaign.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- What is Open Graph (OG)?
- Open Graph is the set of meta tags (og:title, og:description, og:image) that defines how a link looks when shared on social media. Without them, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp build the card from random page data.
- How do I preview a link before publishing?
- Paste the URL or the link data into the Open Graph Preview tool and it simulates side by side how the card will appear on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X and WhatsApp. Runs 100% in the browser, no signup.
- What is the ideal Open Graph image size?
- The recommended og:image is 1200×630 px (1.91:1 ratio), which works well across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter/X. The tool validates the size and flags when an image is off-spec or likely to be cropped.
- Why does my link show up without an image on WhatsApp?
- Usually because the og:image/og:title tags are missing or the image is too large to load into WhatsApp's cache. The preview shows all 4 formats side by side and points out exactly which tag is missing or invalid.
- Is the Open Graph Preview free?
- Yes, it is 100% free and runs right in your browser, no login. You check the card's title, description and image, then fix any issues before publishing the link.
